ESTHERVILLE--Funeral services for Mrs. Nels (Anne Marie) Christensen, 64, Estherville, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Fuhrman Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Johnson of the Huntington United Methodist Church officiating and burial at the East Side Cemetery. She died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Christensen was born Feb. 23, 1911 at Buffalo Center to Mr. and Mrs. August Schaper. She moved to Estherville in 1915 with her family and graduated from Emmet Consolidated School. She was married to Nels Christensen at Fairmont Sept. 7, 1945 and was active in Bible School at the United Methodist Church at Huntington.

Survivors include her husband, Nels; two sons, Gerold, Burlington, N.C.; and Robert, at home; three brothers, Gus and Otto Schaper, Estherville, and Henry, Loomis, Calif.; and two sisters, Mayme Schaper, Estherville, and Mrs. Nolan (Leona) Boggess, Estherville.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home from noon Thursday until time of services Friday.
