Death came to Chas. Poscharsky, 70, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Dahlke, of Gruver, on Thursday last. Mr. Poscharsky has resided here for many years and has been well known over the county. He was born in Germany on June 10, 1861. He came to this country with his parents when an infant. He lived with his parents at Wyanet, Ill., until 1901 when he moved to Emmet County to make his home. His wife passed away some eight years ago. Those left to mourn his death are Mrs. Roy Sprague of Estherville; Mrs. Harley Thorp, of Miles, Mich.; Mrs. Lloyd Dahlke of Gruver, Mrs. Raymond Thomas of Princeton, Ill., and two sons, George, of Miles, Mich., and John of Keewanee, Ill.

The funeral services were held from the Dahlke home and the remains were laid to rest in the East Side cemetery. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, March 18, 1931)
