Death of Mrs. Poscharsky
Mrs. Charles Poscharsky died at the city hospital last Wednesday following an operation for an ailment of long standing. Deceased was forty-nine years of age and was a native of Bensheim, Germany, but came to the United States when twenty years of age. She was married to Charles Poscharsky at Wyonet, Ill., in the year 1888, and they emigrated to Emmet county some twelve years ago making their home in Center township. Six children beside the husband are the immediate relatives left to mourn the loss of a good wife and mother. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two o’clock in the Catholic church, conducted by Rev. J. G. Murtagh, after which the remains were laid to rest in the East Side cemetery.The Democrat joins a host of the friends of the family in extending sympathy to the bereaved ones in their affliction.
Those present from a distance to attend the funeral were: Mrs. John Burkey, of Princeton, Ill., Mrs. Emma Maney, of Kewaunee, Ill., Theodore and Frank Poscharsky, of Wyonet, Ill., and Mrs. Clara Woolcutt, also of Wyonet. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, IA, August 26, 1913)
