Haberman Dies Today at Age 66
Frank Joseph Haberman, 66, of Estherville died of a heart attack today at 1:37 a.m. at Holy Family Hospital in Estherville. He had been admitted to the hospital Tuesday evening.
He was born April 8, 1900, at Lime Creek, Minn., to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Haberman; and he was educated in the Fulda, Minn., schools. He was married April 11, 1921, to Sophia Frey at Worthington, Minn.
The couple lived in the Lime Creek and Fulda areas until 1942, when they moved to Estherville. Here Mr. Haberman did construction work and, more recently, was employed by the Estherville Concrete Products Co.
Mr. Haberman is survived by his wife of Estherville; three sons, Cyril in the Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Lee of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Donald of Estherville; five daughters Mrs. Elmo (Elvera) Langfeldt of Webb, Mrs. Roy (Marie) Wilhelms of Estherville, Mrs. Elmer (Loretta) Peterson of Farmington, Minn., Mrs. Raymond (Mildred) Rosburg Jr. of Estherville, and Mrs. Eleanor Reighard of Estherville; and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. Haberman was preceded in death by his parents.
Family services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home in Estherville, followed by public services, at 2 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church. Rev. Denzil Neumann will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Friday to 11 a.m. Saturday and at the church from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.
