Mrs. Floyd McDonough Dies at 50

Mrs. Floyd (Hazel Mildred) McDonough, 50, died yesterday at 8:55 p.m. at Holy Family Hospital. Cause of death was leukemia.

Mrs. McDonough was born Feb. 25, 1909, at Sparland, Marshall County, Ill. She was the daughter of Minnie and William Frisbey. She received her education in the Sparland schools. She was married to Floyd McDonough June 3, 1940, at Joplin, Mo. After their marriage they made their home in Chicago, and moved to Estherville in 1942. Mrs. McDonough was a member of First Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Malverne (Caryle) Moller of Estherville, one son, Virgil Frye of Hollywood, Calif.; and one grandson, Michael Moller. Also surviving are seven sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. Nita Hill and Mrs. Ethel Burnett, both of Sparland, Ill.; Mrs. Lois Chance of Henry, Ill.; Mrs. Rachel Yarger of Peorla, Ill.; Mrs. Edna arrod of LaCrosse Wisc.; Mrs. Bernice Sivelle and Mrs. Helen Forsyth both of the Los Angeles Calif., area and Elmer Frisbey of Nashville Tenn. Mrs. McDonough was preceded in death by her parents three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the First Methodist Church the Rev. William R. Noland officiating. Friends may call at the Sandin Fuhrman Funeral Home from this afternoon until noon tomorrow. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
