Patrick Bagan Dead

Patrick Bagan died Thursday, July 22nd, at his home in Lincoln township. For several months past he had been troubled with his head and a greater portion of the time was out of his right mind. Everything has been done that medical aid could do to relieve him of the terrible strain on his mind but to no avail. It seemed to be impressed upon his mind constantly that his family was not being well enough taken care of and that they were in destitute circumstances, while in fact it was just to the contrary. The family which consists of a wife and nine children, are left in comfortable circumstances. Deceased was fifty-six years of ago at the time of his death and had been a devoted member of the Catholic church since childhood. The funeral services were held in the Catholic church Saturday morning and the body laid to rest in the cemetery south of town. The many friends of the deceased in this community sympathize with the bereaved family in their hour of sorrow.
