PAUL PAULSON DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
Funeral Wednesday at Skattebo Home
Paul Paulson, 71, died Sunday afternoon, [Dec. 20,1942] at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Skattebo, east of Wallingford, following an illness of several months.
Mr. Paulson was born in High Lake township Dec. 14, 1871 to Paul and Carrie Elllingsdotter Paulson who came from Norway in the 1850s. On 4 March 1900 he married Bertha Louisa Peterson, daughter of Baatolf and Carrie Peterson, at Riverside Church at Wallingford. He operated a farm near High Lake for several years after their marriage. Thirty years ago he moved to a farm north of Wallingford where he resided until a year ago when his health became poor.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Arthur Skattebo, a son, Chester Paulson who lives on his father's farm and a sister, Mrs. A. J. Anderson [Julia], who lives between Mud lake and High lake.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Skattebo home, with the Rev. L. G. Hinderaker officiating. Burial was in the Brugjeld cemetery.
