Rites To Be Tuesday for Mrs. Myhre

Funeral services have been set for tomorrow for Mrs. Theo (Bertha) Myhre, 86, lifetime Estherville area resident, who was found dead at her home late Saturday night.

County Medical Examiner Dr. L. W. Loving attributed her death to a basal skull fracture, believed to have been sustained from a fall downstairs in her home. Dr. Loving ruled the time of death between 10 and 12 p.m. Friday night. Mrs. Myhre was found by neighbors and Estherville police about 9:30 Saturday night.

She was born Feb. 7 ,1876 on a farm near Estherville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Halvor Olson.

Bertha Clara Olson was married to Theo Myhre on Jan. 18, 1910 at the farm home of her parents, and assisted her husband in the operation of a grocery store in Estherville for several years after their marriage. She and a sister operated a dress shop in Estherville for several years.

Mrs. Myhre was a member of the Estherville Lutheran Church and a lifetime member of the ladies aid of that church.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Sophia Snyder and Mrs. Anna Olson, both of Estherville, and a foster sister, Mrs. Charles (Anna) Stewart of Chicago. She is also survived by two brothers, Otto of Tucson, Ariz, and Alfred Dybdock of St. Paul, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Family services will be at 10:30 tomorrow morning at the Sternborg-Reese Chapel with the Rev. L. A. Mathre officiating. Public services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Estherville Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roy Henrickson officiating. Burial is to be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sternborg-Reese Chapel.
