Funeral services for Benjamin J. Frank, 25, of Moore, Okla., formerly of Armstrong, are scheduled noon Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church. Armstrong. Burial, with full military rites by Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Neb., is in Luckow Cemetery, Ulmer, Iowa.

Frank died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 1996, at his home in Moore, Okla. Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Armstrong.

Benjamin J. Frank was born Dec. 5, 1970, in Sac City, Iowa, son of Dennis D. and Beth (Freeman) Frank. He moved to Armstrong with his family in 1973. He received his education in the Armstrong-Ringsted schools, graduating in 1989. He was active in football, basketball and wrestling in high school. He attended Iowa State University for a semester and worked for his father before entering the U.S. Air Force. He received his basic training in San Antonio, Texas, and technical training in Biloxi, Miss. He had been stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, Okla., since September 1991. He was pursuing a degree in engineering.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Moore, Okla. He played in a slow pitch softball league.

Survivors include: daughter, Johannah Frank of Moore, Okla.; mother, Beth Frank of Armstrong; father, Dennis Frank of Carroll, Iowa; brother Colin Frank of Okoboji, Iowa; sister, Heidi Frank of Armstrong; grandparents, DeVon and Frances Freeman of Sac City, Iowa. and Johannah Frank of Jefferson, Iowa; aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and one uncle.
