Mrs. Jacob Jacobson of Gruver Passed Away Last Friday Night.
LIVED IN THIS COUNTY 20 YEARS
Deceased Was Born in Norway and Came to This Country Forty-one Years Ago.
Mrs. Jacob Jacobson of Gruver, died at the home of her son B. Jacobson Friday night at 11:30 o'clock of stomach trouble. Mrs. Jacobson had not been well for a number of months although nothing serious was expected, and the end was a complete surprise.
The funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Edward Dues officiating. Interment made in Swan Lake cemetery.
Martha Johnson was born in Norway August 27, 1837. Forty-six years ago she married Jacob Jacobson [Fladebo]. Mr. and Mrs. Jacobson came to this country forty-one years ago, and settled in Emmet county about 20 years ago.
Jacob Jacobson passed away last fall, and behind deprived of her loved one, was a great blow to her.
Mrs. Jacob Jacobson was a sturdy type of a sturdy race, a loving wife and mother and in every way was a good woman. The following children survive: Mrs. Ole Quasted of Maple Hill; B. Jacobson of Gruver; and Chris Jacobson of Minneapolis.
