Good evening. Thought some additional information
might be helpful.
John (Johann) Gantenbein married Ursula Haas
(Stoltz) Jan. 12, 1896 in Centralia, Iowa. They
moved to Fayette County where they farmed.
William Meyers (Myers in some census)was married
to Martha Hinde. William was the son of Michael
(Christopher) Meyers and Constance Studmeyer.
Martha was the daughter of William Hinde
and Jane Sell. Both families, Michael Meyers,
and William Hinde, emigrated to Dubuque County
around 1855. Would be interested in
corresponding with anyone connected to any of
