Edwin O. Begle, 61, died Saturday in Knoxville Veterans Home, Knoxville. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Cecelia; eight sons, Eldon of Davenport, Larry of Dyersville, Leonard of Farley, Jerome and Erie, both of Bankston, Lloyd of Rickardsville, Leon and Duane, both of Dubuque; three daughters, Elaine Blitgen of Bellvue, Brenda of Farley and Jodi of Dubuque; four brothers, Otto of Ferdinand, Ind., Norb of Huntingburg, Ind., Adolf Jr. of St. Henry, Ind., and Dennis of Dale, Ind.; three sisters, Rita Hoffmann of Huntingburg, Ind., Helen Gress of Jasper, Ind., and Esther Fischer of Ferdinand, Ind.; and 13 grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Monday, St. Clement’s Catholic Church. Burial: Dubuque Memorial Gardens, rural Dubuque. There will be no public visitation. Reiffs, Farley, in charge of arrangements.
