Bert and Evelyn (Majerus) Norton

I am looking for information on Michael L K Norton aka--Bert Norton and his wife Mary Evelyn Majerus, I wanted to know about Bert's connection into the Krayer family or how he came to be there. I heard of an adoption of Michael/Bert into the family.
I am also seeking photos of this family and their other members to this family.
I have as his birthdate: April 16, 1892, death unknown, marriage- April 29, 1913 in Dubuque, IA
Also heard he died in some type of accident. Is there a news article on this? Any help will be appreciated and thank you in advance for taking the time research.
