I am searching for any trace of Gustav Tiefenbrun or Tiefenbrunn. Wife: Analie.
He shows up in the 1870 census as a plasterer, married to Analie, and taking care of Bertha(age 14) and Wilhelmina (age 6). Census taker notes that Analie has born 17 children in 15 years of marriage with only 1 set of twins (noted under Blind/Deaf/Insane column) Marriage Date @ 1855, location unk.
Bertha and Wilhelmina are the daughters of Gustav's brother Francis, who died in 1863 in Chattanooga Civil War battle.
In 1880 he lives alone in a rooming house.
The rest of his family (7 siblings and parents) are located in St Louis Mo at this time. The two girls reappear in Palmyra MO and Kansas City in 1885, both married. This is when their grandmother's will is probated in St Louis, and they sign for bequests.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
