Chad M. Biver, 29, of 1011 Davis St., died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church, with burial of the cremated remains in Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

He was born on Dec. 20, 1973, in Dubuque, son of Robert and Linda (Chatfield) Biver.

Chad resided for many happy years at Hills and Dales. He completed his special education classes, then worked at the Hills and Dales Vocational Center.

Surviving are his parents, Robert and Linda Biver, of Dubuque; two brothers, Brian Biver, of Dubuque, and Benjamin (Sarah Jaeger) Biver, of Fort Bragg, N.C.; a sister, Bridget Biver, of Dubuque; his grandparents, Donald and Virginia Chatfield and Eldon "Fritz" and M. Virginia Biver, all of Dubuque; and two nephews, Jacob and Sean.

A Chad M. Biver Memorial Fund has been established.
