Death of an old Citizen: Mr. George Bahl, of Center township, Dubuque county, died at his home on Friday last at the age of 72 years. The funeral was held on Sunday and the ebsequies? were largely attended. Mr. Bahl was a German by birth and one of the earliest settlers in this part of the country. During a period of twenty five or thirty years he was one of the best known and most respected citizen of this county, mainly engaged in agricultural pursuits. He is father of Hon. Andrew Bahl, formerly a member of the board of supervisors and a few years ago a representative in the general assembly of Iowa.
