Carl L. Blichmann

Carl L. Blichmann, 1815 West Third Street, a Dubuque painter, died Friday morningat the U. S. Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. He had been ill for one year.

The body will arrive in Dubuque Saturday afternoon, and will be taken to the Egelhof Home for Funerals. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Mr. Blichmann was born in Dubuque May 23,1888, and had lived here all his life. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, No. 125, A.F. and A. M., the Low Twelve Club, and served in the World War.

Surviving with his wife, the former Elsie Rooney, are four sons, Herbert, Carl Jr., Harvey, and James; his father Charles W. Blichmann; three brothers, Edward, Dolph, and Arthur, all of Dubuque, and one sister, Bernice, of Chicago.

He was preceded in death my his mother and one brother, Herbert.
