William J. Johnson a farmer in Section 32, Taylor Township. William Johnson was born in Ireland July 11, 1852. Coming to Dubuque County in June 1869, he later married Miss Catherine Lawler on April 14 1875. There are three known Johnson children: Johnnie, Jennie and Willie.
