Jane M. KnepperWORTHINGTON, Iowa - Jane M. Knepper, 60, of Boone, Iowa, and formerly of Worthington, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at Boone County Hospital in Boone.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW, in Dyersville, where a funeral service will commence at 2:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
Jane was born August 14, 1954, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Loras & Mary (Weber) Knepper. She graduated from Beckman High School with the Class of 1972 and continued her education at Hawkeye Institute of Technology, earning an Associates Degree in Photography, and used that skill working as a photographer in Dubuque. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Iowa State University and earned another Associates Degree in Civil Engineering from DMACC and was currently working as a Civil Engineering Assistant for American Concrete in Ankeny.
Janie was an accomplished artist, winning various high school awards and finding the beauty in the simplest of things. She was an animal lover and believed in taking care of the environment. She will be greatly missed by her Scottish terrier, Barney.
Survivors include her siblings, Bernie (Jane), Sue (Bob) Willenborg and Don (Kim), all of Dyersville, Dave (Janet), of Barry, IL, Jeff (Diane), of New Vienna, Kevin (Sally), of Worthington, Gary, of Streamwood, IL, and Beth Knepper, of Yellow Springs, OH; sisters-in-law Bev (Dick) Anstoetter, of Farley, and Bev Knepper, of Dubuque, and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Doug.
Memorials are preferred.
