Sister Alyce (Stellan) Kelly, OP, died January 24, 2019. her funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2019.at Sinsinawa Motherhouse. The wake will be there at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, January 27th.

Beginning in 1953 she taught at St. Rose, Milwaukee, St. Anne, Wausaw and Immaculate Conception, Chicago. She serve 13 years as director of religious education at Queen of Peace, Madison. From 1984 to 2002 she was pastoral associate/parish administrator at St. Patrick, Rockford. She then volunteered in Rockford and later administered at the Sinsinawa Motherhouse, joining her St. Dominic Villa sister in 2017.

Sister Alyce was born in Chicago, June 1, 1939, to Edward and Stella (MORONEY) Kelly. She is survived by a sister, Sister Kathleen "Kay" Kelly, SP and her Dominican Sisters. Casey Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
