SINSINAWA, Wis. — Sister Patricia (Jarett) Henschel, OP, died Jan. 24, 2019.

Her funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m, Feb. 1, at the Sinsinawa Motherhouse. The wake will be on Jan. 31 at 6:30 p.m.

Sister Patricia taught at St. Mary, Billings, Mont.; Holy Rosary, Minneapolis; Annunciation, Green Bay; St. Sabina, Chicago; and St. Mary, Dixon, Ill. She was principal at St. Mary, Dixon, and St. Edmund, Oak Park, Ill. She taught at Rosary College, Ill. During 1989-1996 she was diocesan associate superintendent of education, Sacramento, Calif. She was faculty director, Sacramento Waldorf School, Fair Oaks, Calif. from 1997-2000; later, curriculum director, Holy Family School, Citrus Heights, Calif.

Sister Patricia was born Jan. 5, 1931, to August and Margaret (Tobin) Henschel.

She is survived by nieces, nephews and her Dominican Sisters.
