Mary Ann LuGrain, 56, of 1028 Judy Court, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Word of Life Church, 4450 Dodge St., where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on April 4, 1956, in Flint, Mich., daughter of James and Marcella (Kelzer) Weig. She married Andrew A. J. LuGrain on Feb. 25, 1972, in Asbury, Iowa.

She worked with her dad as a painter for many years.

She was a member of Word of Life Church, enjoyed gardening and was an animal lover.

Surviving are her husband, A.J.; children, Tammy (Charles) Hoskins, Laura LuGrain, Michael LuGrain, Joseph LuGrain and Patrick LuGrain, all of Dubuque; two grandchildren, Benjamin and Samuel; two sisters, Sharon (Jerome) Hefel and Janice Weig; two brothers, Daniel (Vee) Weig and Dennis (Lori) Weig; and a brother-in-law, Louis (Deb) LuGrain.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David.
