Lisa R. Butcher, 47, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of Farley, Iowa, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, surrounded by family and friends at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where a wake service will be held at 2 p.m.

Services for Lisa will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa, with Rev. Michael Schueller presiding. Burial will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Farley, Iowa.

She was born August 6, 1967, in Dubuque, Iowa, daughter of James and Norma (Besler) Butcher. She was a 1985 graduate of Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa. She was employed at Alliant Credit Union and Hobby Lobby, both in Dubuque, Iowa.

Lisa was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, she enjoyed crafts and gardening. She was known as the family photographer that was picture happy and always had her camera on her wrist. She loved her fur babies, Ace and Harleyjane, and most of all she loved her son, Andy.

She is survived by her son, Andy Butcher (Special Friend Trisha Engler and Daughter Brittany) of Dubuque, IA; her parents, James and Norma Butcher, of Farley, IA; two sisters, Becky (Mike) Gansen, of Epworth, IA, Barb (Dave) Schmitt, of Farley, IA; two brothers, J.J. (Monique) Butcher, of Epworth, IA, Brian Butcher, of Burleson, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; two special fur friends, her dog Ace, and her cat Harleyjane.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Sarah Butcher, and maternal grandparents, Joe and Molly Besler; one aunt, Bonnie Gloeckner, and one uncle, Don Besler.

A Lisa R. Butcher memorial fund has been established.
