Mrs. James Lally, a resident of Dubuque for 96 years, died at her home, at 445 West Fourteenth Street at 12:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon. She was ill for the past four weeks.

Mrs. Lally was born in Dubuque Aug. 23, 1844. Her maiden name was Margaret Campbell. Her husband died twenty years ago and her daughter, Miss Florence died in 1933. Her only surviving relatives are two nieces in Honolulu and a niece and nephew in California.

Mrs. Lally lived on West Fourteenth Street for more 50 years. She was the last of the old time residents of that street. She was a member of St. Luke’s Methodist Episcopal Church. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
