MRS. FANNIE SMITH

Mrs. Fannie A. Smith, 82, wife of George Smith of Epworth died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Finely.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Avenue. After noon Thursday, and the body will be will be transferred to the Haudenshield Funeral Home, Epworth. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday to the Methodist Church at Epworth. Burial will be at Linwood Cemetery, Dubuque.

Mrs. Smith was born Oct 25, 1870 in Dubuque. She resided in Epworth except for a few years spent in Dubuque.

She was member of the Epworth Methodist Church, the Berean Bible class of the church and the Rebekah Lodge.

Surviving are six nieces, Mrs. Ida Kapper, Mrs. Louis Waechter and Mrs. Edward Oberfoell, all of Dubuque, Mrs. John Erdman and Mrs. Theodore Waechter, both of Epworth, and Mrs. Eugene Wall, Earlville, Ia.; four nephews, Arnold Allen, Fred Sroka and Edward Schlosser, all of Epworth, and Robert Allen, Dubuque, and a sister-in-law Mrs. Edward Schlosser, Epworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1912.
