McDERMOTT – In this city Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock of consumption. James W. McDermott, aged 31 years.

Funeral Friday morning 10 o’clock, from the residence of his brother on Julien Avenue. Deceased was a member of the First Iowa Calvary and served with distinction during the war.
