MRS. MARY POWERS DEAD

Demise of Well-Known Lady, Long
Resident of Table Mound

The great many friends in Dubuque and county of Mrs. Mary Powers, beloved wife of Lawrence Powers, of Table Mound Township, will learn with much regret of her death, which occurred Thursday night. The deceased lady was 68 years of age and was a native of Ireland. She had resided in the county over half a century.

She is survived by her husband and nine children, all residents of Dubuque County, as follows: William, Philip, Thomas, Mrs. Ellen Kyne, Mrs. Sarah Sullivan, Sister Mary Gertrude, John, Mrs. Bridget Fagan, and Miss Marie. The funeral will be held Sunday morning to St. Joseph’s Church. The interment will be at the Monastery.
