Mrs. Vincent (Bernice L.) Strueber, 89, of Oklahoma City, Okla., formerly of Dubuque, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at Canterbury Health Center, Oklahoma City, after a long illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, both in Dubuque. Private family visitation will be at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, Dubuque.

She was born on Dec. 13, 1908, in Dubuque, daughter of Albert and Eldora (Kascel) Flick.

Surviving are her daughters, Mary J. Hapgood, of Edmond, Okla., and Joan A. England, of Allison Park, Pa.; her son, James V. Strueber, of Papua, New Guinea; sisters, Myrt Noel, of Dubuque, and Sister Marie Flick, of Detroit; a brother, Lyle Flick, of Seattle; and seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
