About Sixty Dubuquers Attend the
Obsequies of the Late
Ellen Madigan

The funeral of the late Ellen Madigan, which took place Tuesday at the Monastery, was very largely attended. The remains were accompanied from Dubuque by over sixty friends of the deceased. Rev. Father David, of the Monastery, officiated at the grave, and many were present from several townships, showing the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Among those who were in attendance were Sister Mary Magdalena, aunt of the deceased, who is a member of the Dominican Order, and who was with her in Dubuque before she died.

All who went from Dubuque took dinner at the residence of Patrick Walsh, and their teams were also care for.
