Thomas E. Woodward died at the home of his mother, Mrs. – S. Woodward t 7:30 o’clock this morning. Deceased has been in poor health for several months prior to his death, and the end, was therefore no surprise to his family and friends. His death, however, has brought sorrow to his mother and family, as well as to the many friends of this young man, as he had made many acquaintances, and was universally admired.

Deceased was 25 years of age, and just entered upon the activities of manhood – was filled with promise to him. Two brothers in addition to his mother survive him. They are W. B. and R. L. Woodward, both of this city.
