Cecelia "Chris" Christofferson, 66, 1015 Wood St., died at 9:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 1997, at The Finley Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Nativity Catholic Church, Dubuque, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Gene Siegert & Son Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where there will be a Nativity Parish scripture wake service at 5 p.m.

Mrs. Christofferson was employed at JC Penney from 1983 until her retirement in 1995.

She was born on May 2, 1930, in Dubuque, daughter of Edward and Mary (Dougherty) Bradley, and grew up near Placid.

She married Duane Christofferson on Jan. 25, 1950, at Nativity Catholic Church, Dubuque, and raised her family here.

A Eucharistic minister at Nativity, "Chris loved the mountains and ocean and traveled to them."

Surviving are her husband, Duane A. Christofferson, of Dubuque; two daughters, Ann (Brian) Hartnell, of Wausaukee, Wis., and Susan O'Connor, of Renton, Wash.; two sons, David (Linda), of Marysville, Wash., and Gary (Julie), of Chattanooga, Tenn.; five grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a brother, John Bradley, of Marquette Heights, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donald.

A Cecelia "Chris" Christofferson Memorial Fund has been established.
