Funeral Obsequies – The funeral obsequies of Henry Kroll took place yesterday morning from the Main Street Methodist Church, where an effecting an eloquent discourse was delivered by the officiating clergyman. The Union Guards, of which he was a member, attended the funeral in a body, headed by the Germania Band, which, with muffled drums and minor airs, made a solemn and imposing appearance. Deceased was an exemplary young man, whom none knew but to love. May his sorrow stricken relatives receive that comfort which the departures of a dear and loved one demands.
