The funeral of Timothy Joseph Crowley, 71, who died at 5:30 o'clock Saturday evening at St. Anthony's Home, will be held from the Bennett and Ashworth Funeral Home to St. Anthony's Home at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning and burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Crowley, son of the late Jeremiah and Mary Crowley, was born at Prairie Creek on April 17, 1870, and spent his entire life in Dubuque County. He was widely known in Dubuque and was a devout Catholic all his life.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. William McCabe, Table Mound, and Sister Mary Inviolata, Presentation Convent, Dougherty, Ia.; and three brothers, Edward F. and J. Crowley, both of Dubuque, and Cornelius C. Crowley, Tulsa, Okla.
Preceding him in death besides his parents were a sister, Mrs. John Kane and two brothers who died in infancy.
