Mrs. Catherine T. Crowley, 79, 1840 Auburn St., died at 6 pm Saturday at Xavier Hospital after a brief illness.

Friends may call at the Strueber Funeral Home after 7 pm Sunday. Funeral services will be held at St. Anthony's Church at 10 am Tuesday, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mrs. Crowley was born June 27, 1878, in Dubuque, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Kelly and was a lifelong resident of Dubuque. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and the Rosary Society. She was married in 1899 to Patrick J. Crowley, who preceded her in death in 1956.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Andrew Schroeder, Mrs. Raymond Grimm and the Misses Gwendolyn and Margaret Crowley, all of Dubuque; two sons, Patrick J. Crowley of Dubuque and Robert C. Crowley of Chicago; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. M.E. Becker of Dubuque and one brother, Alex Kelly of Dubuque.
