Young Dubuque Man Claimed By Death
After a Year of Suffering Due to
Accident
~
Death on Saturday night relieved the suffering, of Mr. Ryle McCabe, the nineteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McCabe, of 1248 Iowa Street, after a year’s duration.

Mr. McCabe passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. While at work in a local factory a year ago, he mounted a ladder and while at work fell to the floor, striking on a corner of a box near at hand. His rubs were broken and kidneys punctured. He was hastily removed to his home and later to a hospital where everything was done to relieve his sufferings. He submitted to several operations at intervals, an again last May underwent an operation in the hope of saving his life. He recovered and returned to his home, but the injuries had gone to far and he was obliged again to undergo an operation as the only means of saving his life. But death claimed him after all his suffering and on Saturday night mercifully sealed his eyelids and left in peace.

Young Mr. McCabe was known throughout the city and universally respected. He had a sunny, happy disposition and his young life, short as it was, was long enough to win countless friends to him and who sincerely sorrow over his passing. Mr. McCabe has left in bereavement his parents, two sisters, Viola and Pearl, and one brother, George.
