The funeral of the late Ryle J. McCabe was held on Tuesday morning at nine o’clock from the family residence, 1248 Iowa Street, to St. Patrick’s Church, thence to Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Father Dowling officiated at the church and the grave and in his sermon spoke highly of the young man summoned so recently by death.

During the services at the church Mr. Louis Lagan sang “My Rosary” and at the conclusion of the service a quartet composed of Messrs. Wm. Keller, Albert and Herbert Hoffmann and Raymond Schrempf sang “Ave Maria.” The pallbearers were Messrs. Chris Voelker, Raymond Schrempf, Herbert Hoffmann, Fred Kriebs, Louis Lagan, and William Sumpmann.
The funeral was very largely attended.
