Mrs. Anna Marie Theiring, widow of the late Frank Theiring, died Sunday morning at 5:45 o’clock at the family residence, 1045 Iowa Street.

The deceased was born June 14, 1831, in Alsace, France. When a young woman she immigrated to this country, settling in Cincinnati, where she resided for a short time, coming to Dubuque fifty years ago, where she has since lived. During all these years she has had, by her acts of kindness and benevolence to those about her, was an everlasting place in the hearts of hundreds who will miss the kindly smile and the gentle touch of the good woman. She was a devout member of St. Mary’s Church and died with the rites of that faith.

She is survived by one son, Frank, and five daughters, Mrs. C. Minges, Mrs. E. Furhman, Mrs. N. Udelhoff, Mrs. M. Flehthy and Miss Catherine Theiring.

The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock to St. Mary’s Church.
