Patrick Duffy, aged 75 years, died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital after an illness of several months duration.

The deceased was a native of Ireland, but came to Dubuque over fifty years ago, later going to St. Louis, where he lived for several years following steamboating on the Mississippi. About twenty-five years ago he returned to Dubuque and engaged in the poultry business, which he followed successfully until his health failed him.

His only surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Bready, living at Moline, Ill.
