The funeral of Dr. C. A. McGuire, Dubuque physician who died at Mercy Hospital Saturday morning, was held Monday morning from the Didesch Funeral Home to St. Raphael’s Cathedral, where the Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. V. Casey, pastor, was celebrant pf a mass of requiem. Monsignor Casey delivered the funeral sermon and officiated at burial services in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clarence McMahon, Robert McMahon, David McMahon, Maurice McMahon, Joseph McMahon, Jr., and Harold McMahon.

An honorary escort was composed of Judge Hugh P. Stuart, Postmaster A. F. Schrup, Dr. Francis P. Quinn, Frank J. Kennedy, Clem J. McGuire, Ray Cosley, Dr. Philip H. Sheridan, and Harry Rawson, Dubuque, and Lee J. Dougherty and Thomas J. Walsh, Davenport.

Persons from out of the city attending the funeral were Miss Natena McGuire, Omaha, Neb., and Frank McGuire and son and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver McGuire and family, Holy Cross.
