Chlorys M. Allderdice, 86, of 3730 Pennsylvania Ave., formerly of Highland Park, Ill., died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2000, at The Finley Hospital.

Private family services will be in Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery, with burial in Linwood Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on March 2, 1914, in Protection, Kan., daughter of William and Elizabeth (Brenson) Creighton.

Surviving are her children, Shirley (Col. William A.) Lawrence, of El Cajon, Calif., Penelope (Dr. Bernard) Weisskopf, of Louisville, Ky., Pamela (John) Adams, of Dubuque, Deborah Allderdice, of Greenwood Lake, N.Y., and Charles (Eugenia) Allderdice, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Bill Lawrence, Matthew and Steven Weisskopf, Charles and Catherine Adams, and Charles J. Allderdice; and her great-grandchildren, Mark William Lawrence and Scarlett Adams.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Allderdice.
