Mrs. Harold (Ruth) Albrecht, 86, of Ennoble Manor Care Center, formerly of 476 Primrose, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at Ennoble Manor.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Egelhof-Siegert & Casper Locust Street Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St., with burial in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Albrecht worked as a legal secretary prior to her marriage.
She was born on Oct. 6, 1912, in Elgin, Iowa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Mosby. She married Harold Albrecht on Feb. 14, 1942, in Elgin; he died in 1998.
She graduated from Elgin High School in 1928, then went on to graduate from Iowa State Teachers College in 1929. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are two sons, Ron (Connie) Albrecht, of Dubuque, and James (Barbara) Albrecht, of Lenexa, Kan.; and three grandchildren, Kristin, Kevin and Tammy.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Augusta and Marie; and a brother, Gordon.
A Ruth Albrecht Memorial Fund has been established.
