THIERING, UDELHOFEN, FITCHEL, MENGIS, FUHRMANN

Frank L. Theiring, aged 82 years, died at 11:30 Friday night at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Udelhofen, 1047 Iowa street. He was an old resident of Dubuque county, having lived here for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife and five daughters and one son, as follows: Mrs. J. Fitchel, St. Paul; Mrs. A. Mengis, Mrs. Edward Fuhrmann, Mrs. Udelhofen, Miss Christina Theiring and F.W. Theiring of this city; also by one brother, Anton Theiring, of Cincinnati, O.

He was a soldier in the Mexican war, having enlisted at Cincinnati, and served under Gen. Moore. He will be buried Monday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's church to Mt. Calvary cemetery.
