Helen G. (Lattner) Agrella, 71, of Dubuque, formerly of Bankston, Iowa, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2001, at home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Clement's Cemetery, Bankston, where military rites will be accorded by the Farley American Legion Post 656. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m. and an Infant of Prague Mothers Club rosary at 6:30 p.m.

She was born on March 4, 1930, in Bankston, daughter of Walter A. and Eva Ann (Daly) Lattner. She married Mike Agrella on April 25, 1956, in San Diego.

She graduated from the former St. Clement's High School, Bankston, and Bayless Business College, Dubuque.

She worked at Interstate Power Co., Dubuque, and then entered the Navy and served as a 3rd Class Petty Officer from 1952 to 1956. She then worked as a business manager at Pressley Peterbilt, San Diego, until her retirement.

She was a member of Resurrection Parish, Dubuque, and the Infant of Prague Mothers Club.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, and Nana and will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are her husband, Mike Agrella, of Dubuque; two children, Beth (Kirk) Helen G. Williams of Asbury, Iowa, and Michael Eugene (Cathleen) Agrella, of San Diego; three grandchildren, Tayler Lynn Williams, Courtney Elizabeth Williams and Lindsey Helen Williams; and two sisters, Lenore Mauzey and Velma Healy, both of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Loras W. Lattner, Alfred Lattner and Eugene D. Lattner; and two sisters, Grace Kennaman and Mary Irene "Rene" Lattner.
