Naomi M. Witter, 17-year-old daughter of David J. Witter and Robin M. (Cottrell) Maiden, both of Dubuque, who resided at Hills and Dales Child Development Center, 1011 Davis Ave., died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, 1997, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, where friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Asbury (Iowa) Cemetery.

She was born on June 9, 1980, in Dubuque.

She had attended Eisenhower Elementary School and was currently enrolled at Dubuque Senior High School.

Surviving are her mother, Robin M. (Chris) Maiden, of Dubuque; her father, David J. Witter, of Dubuque; two brothers, Aaron D. and Andrew C. Witter, who both reside with their mother in Dubuque; a half brother, Michael (Kim) DeMuth, of Dubuque; and her paternal grandparents, Carl W. and Carmalita (Till) Witter, of Dubuque.

A Naomi M. Witter Memorial Fund has been established by her family.
