Michael J. DeMuth, 34, of 17262 S. John Deere Road, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, in Dubuque.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Asbury (Iowa) Cemetery. Burial will be in the Asbury Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoffmann, Schneider and Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1970, in Iowa City, son of James DeMuth and Robin Cottrell.

Michael attended Hempstead High School, Dubuque.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle and godfather.

Surviving are his mother, Robin (Chris) Maiden, of Dubuque; his father, James DeMuth, of Dubuque; two brothers, Aaron (Megan) Witter and Andrew Witter, both of Dubuque; three sisters, Stacey DeMuth, Jennifer DeMuth and Allison DeMuth, all of Dubuque; his former wife, Kim Singh DeMuth, of Dubuque; two nieces, Cloe and Madison; his special friend, Lisa Ann Roth, of Dubuque; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Witter; and his grandparents.

A Michael J. DeMuth Memorial Fund has been established. Memorials may be sent to Chris and Robin Maiden, 3528 Eclipse Circle, Dubuque, Iowa 52003.
