Maylo J. Tigges, 64 of Dubuque, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at her brother and sister in-laws home of Adrenal Cancer.

In honoring Maylo's wishes there will be no visitation or services. Private Family services will be held.

Maylo was born July 23, 1949, in Dubuque. The daughter of Leo and Eleanor (Willmes) Tigges. She was raised on a farm in LaMotte, Iowa.

Maylo was employed at Thermo Fisher Scientific for 21 years, before they closed. She also operated the Lucky Lady Saloon, over the last 35 years she also bartended at Jimmy B's, Bills Tap and The Coliseum/Arena and lastly the Grand River Center. She enjoyed bartending and meeting new friends. She also enjoyed traveling, genealogy, gardening and reading.

Surviving are her sister, Sharon (Jim) Kluesner, a brother, Lloyd (Dixie) Tigges, both of Dubuque; four nieces and nephews, Kelly (Fred) Duebe, Karey (Pietro) Bajona, Kevin (Elaine) Kluesner, and Kenyon (Beth) Kluesner; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Dubuque in Maylo's Memory.

I have lived a very happy life with a wonderful caring family and lots of good friends. Now it's time for a new adventure--Maylo.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque (Kelly and Stephanie), Dr. Schultheis and Staff and Mayo Clinic for your loving care of our sister.
