Rosemary (Wagner) Deckert, 75, of Parsippany, N.J., formerly of Dubuque, died at 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, in Parsippany.

Services will be held in Parsippany. The Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., Dubuque, supplied the information.

She was a staff nurse at Mercy hospital until 1979.

She was born on June 30, 1924, in Fillmore, Iowa, daughter of Joseph and Marie (Francois) Wagner. She married Henry Deckert on Nov. 6, 1948, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fillmore; he died Nov. 20, 1985.

She received her early education at Sacred Heart School, Fillmore, and was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, Dubuque, and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to Parsippany in 1979.

Surviving are two sons, David Deckert and Mark (Betty) Deckert, both of New Jersey; six grandchildren; two brothers, John (Rita) Deckert and Louis (Betty) Deckert, both of Dubuque; and two sisters, Betty (Harry) Ryan, of Ohio, and Kaye (Dick) Russell, of Naperville, Ill.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Bauman; her brother, Donald Wagner; and her sister-in-law, Susan.
