Mona Arbogast, 91, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Dubuque, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at her home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at Weerts Funeral Home, Kimberly Road at Jersey Ridge, Davenport, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today. Additional celebration of life services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Arbor Oaks Bible Chapel, 2843 Kennedy Road, Dubuque, where friends may call after 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery, Dubuque.

She was born in 1919, in Dubuque, daughter of Hugo and Bertha Zimmer. She married Daniel H. Arbogast on May 31, 1947, in Dubuque; he preceded her in death in 2001.

Mona was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and The Finley Hospital Auxiliary, both in Dubuque.

She was a great cook and gardener, which included raising flowers. She also enjoyed traveling, shopping, sewing and knitting.

Surviving are a daughter, Sarah (Juan) Harle, of Oceanside, Calif.; sons, David Arbogast, of Davenport, and John (Cindy) Arbogast, Ankeny, Iowa; grandchildren, Abigail (Dustin) Boring, of Ankeny, Amos (Colleen) Arbogast, of Bloomington, Ill., and Amissa Arbogast, of Ankeny; and a great-grandson, Ezra Boring, of Ankeny.

Memorials may be given to the High Point Bible Chapel, Davenport.
