B. ROSCOE SHERMAN

Services were Wednesday in San Francisco, Calif., for B. Roscoe Sherman, 78, of San Francisco, former Des Moines resident who died of complications following surgery. Burial was in San Francisco.

Mr. Sherman was born in Des Moines and lived here until 1926. He moved to San Francisco about 40 years ago. He was a graduate of Drake University and was a retired research department employee with the Shell Oil Co. He had been a member of First Christian Church here.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; two sons, Jack of Phoenix, Ariz., and Scott of Orinda, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Birnie of Bliss, Idaho, and Linda Sherman of Modesto, Calif.; four sisters, Polly Crume of Des Moines, Ruth Wagner of Urbandale, Lois Oliver of Chicago, Ill., and Gladys Tindall of Vista, Calif., and seven grandchildren.
