Michael D. Lagen 1948-2014

Michael D. Lagen, 66, of Dubuque died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Sunnycrest Manor. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church where visitation will be held Thursday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Michael was born April 24, 1948 in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Louis "Pat" and Thea (Quade) Lagen. He attended St. Patrick's School and graduated from Wahlert High School. He received residential and vocational services from Area Residential Care. Michael was an avid Cubs fan.

He is survived by his cousins, Pat (John) Sunseri of Dubuque, Susan (John) Ohms of Dubuque, Barbara (Jim) Schwers of Broken Arrow, Okla., David Quade of Mobile, Ala., Thomas Quade of Mobile, Ala., Paul (Linda) Quade of Huntsville, Ala., and Lyn (Bruce) Johnston of Scottsdale, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to Wahlert High School or Area Residential Care.
